We invite you to this seminar to give you an in-depth insight into functional safety with a focus on the hardware area. Based on standards, practical examples and calculations will be performed and the handling of safety function will be consolidated.
Modules
In-depth examination based on ISO 13849 / IEC 62061 / IEC 61511 / IEC 61508
- Legal basics
- From the manufacture of a component, to its proper integration into a safety system.
- Working out the diagnostic coverage taking into account the different types of faults (FMEA) during development
- Verification and validation of a simple subsystem up to a complex safety function
Standard-compliant solutions based on some practical examples, taking into account the various possibilities (diagnostics, fault exclusion, redundancy, ...)

Target group and requirements
The seminar is aimed at manufacturers, distributors and operators of technical systems, project and safety managers for plants, product managers, project managers in the safety-relevant field and, in general, persons interested in the safety of technical systems.
Prerequisites for this training are several years of professional experience in the functional safety sector (machinery or plant) or participation in our (or a similar) introductory course.

Number of participants
The max. number of participants for this seminar on-site is 10 persons. Virtually, there is a limit of 20 people. Registrations will be ranked on a first come, first serve basis.
